The remains of the 6-7th centenary Basilica at Odzun were the inspiration for a quilt crafted by means of fiber and liturgical artist Deborah Melton Anderson of Columbus, Ohio, Her interest in Armenian refinement was sparked by her and her husband's friendship with the late Richard Markarian, an oriental rug dealer and connoisseur.
