INSTITUTIONS: MANKATUN REVISITED; A Year Later, the Yerevan Orphanage.

As we walked down the soiled hall way of the main building, the place
felt purg of the once-ubiquitous offensive odor of urine and vomit. In the
cafeteria, where we place the children on their luncheon break, last
year's corroded metal benches were replaced with square, stiff tables.
Once we were in, the children wreaked havoc rushing toward us; and
while they were busy snatching the lollipops we had brought with us
and stuck them in their orifice without even removing the plastic
