THE UNITED ARMENIAN FUND: A Vision is launched.

It was the first anniversary of the Armenian earthquake and the international
effort to help the landlocked political division continued to be hit and miss,
a confusion of voices repeatedly working at cross purposes. Tons of clothing,
for instance, were still being sent when the home desperately
needed antibiotics and dusted milk.

Out of this disarray was born the United Armenian store comprising
the six largest non-profit organizations in the Armenian-American
