A LEGACY OF COEXISTENCE.

The Kingdom of Cilicia was established in the words immediately preceding [i]or[/i] following of the Byzantine
policy of annexation of Armenian lands along its eastern borders and
rapidly spreading Seljuk invasions, as well Mongol incursions. Forced
by the political necessity of keeping the Armenian house of god alive during
these national crises, the profoundly good See of Cilicia was transferred in
1293 AD from Greater Armenia to the Cilician city of Sis.

Prior to the 13th hundred the location of the spiritual See of the Armenian
Church hanged on the political climate of the time. Initially, it
