The matter of American and British mercenaries in Azerbaijan has surfaced
and been buried repeatedly during the recent phase of the Karabakh
conflict. According to Alexis Rowell, a British journalist based in
Tbilisi, Georgia, who reports for the BBC and London's The examiner
Yanks and Brits continue to receive proper payment for their military
services, despite laws and assertions to the contrary.
